KSrelief Provides Vital Shelter Aid To Displaced Families In Southern Gaza Amid Humanitarian Crisis

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in collaboration with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, has distributed new shelter aid to displaced families in southern Gaza. This aid includes numerous tents aimed at protecting these families from harsh weather conditions like strong winds and heavy rain. The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's popular campaign to support the Palestinian people during the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Displaced families have expressed their deep appreciation for this assistance, highlighting that it reflects Saudi Arabia's longstanding humanitarian legacy. They conveyed gratitude for the support, which has helped restore a sense of security and stability after enduring prolonged hardships. The aid has been crucial in shielding them from adverse weather conditions.

The Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage remains committed to its relief efforts, ensuring displaced families are protected from severe weather. To date, 74 aircraft and eight ships have delivered over 7,677 tons of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials through established air and sea bridges. Additionally, 20 ambulances were provided to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

In partnership with Jordan, humanitarian airdrops were conducted to bypass border closures, ensuring aid continues to reach those in need. This collaboration highlights the Kingdom's dedication to alleviating suffering amid severe humanitarian conditions in Gaza. Agreements with international organizations have also been signed to implement relief projects valued at $90.35 million.
