KSrelief Delivers Food Baskets To Displaced Families In Southern Gaza
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues the Saudi popular campaign to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, distributing food baskets to displaced families in the Al-Qarara area in the south. The latest operation targets people facing severe shortages and focuses on reaching those most at risk, including women, children, elderly people, and families with very limited resources.
KSrelief, described as the Kingdom’s humanitarian arm, has built an air and sea bridge to move relief items to the Palestinian people. So far, 78 aircraft and eight ships have transported more than 7,706 tons of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials. Alongside this, 914 Saudi relief trucks have entered the Gaza Strip carrying food, shelter, medical equipment, and other vital items.

Field teams from the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, acting as KSrelief’s implementing partner, oversaw the Al-Qarara distribution. The teams used a detailed and organised plan designed to reach as many displaced families as possible. Distribution mechanisms were structured to prioritise the most vulnerable groups, and to reduce crowding and confusion, so that aid reached people fairly and with clear procedures.
KSrelief has also delivered 20 ambulances to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, supporting medical response efforts inside the Gaza Strip. The centre signed agreements with international organisations to run relief projects in Gaza worth $90.35 million. Airdrops carried out with Jordan helped bypass border closures. These operations highlight the Kingdom’s continued commitment to assist the Palestinian people during crisis and hardship.
The families who received food baskets in Al-Qarara expressed deep appreciation to the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people for the humanitarian and relief assistance. Beneficiaries said the support eased daily suffering and reflected strong values of compassion and human solidarity. They noted the aid had a clear effect on their lives, especially under current conditions in the Gaza Strip.
