KSrelief Chief Highlights 21 Years Since Olga And Daria's Separation
Saudi Arabia’s long-running Saudi Conjoined Twins Program has recorded 67 separation operations over 35 years, offering medical care to 155 conjoined twins from 28 countries, according to Supervisor-General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah.
Dr. Al Rabeeah stated that the specialised programme has become a recognised destination for families seeking this complex type of treatment, both from within Saudi Arabia and from abroad, reflecting consistent investment in advanced medical services and structured humanitarian work over several decades.

During a meeting at KSrelief headquarters, Dr. Al Rabeeah received former conjoined twins Olga and Daria from Poland, whose separation surgery was carried out 21 years ago at King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in Riyadh, under the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program.
He said that the high international standing achieved by the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program would not have been possible without the unlimited support and attention of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Al Rabeeah explained that the programme reflects Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian priorities, which extend beyond geographic and cultural boundaries, with its medical missions serving patients from different continents and backgrounds, aiming to ease suffering and help patients continue life with better health and independence.
For their part, the Polish twins expressed their profound thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the Saudi medical team led by Dr. Al Rabeeah affirming that the surgery marked a turning point in their lives and enabled them to live independently and lead normal lives, while Saudi Arabia continues to appear in leading positions in international humanitarian rankings year after year, with the meeting recorded at 23:07 local time, corresponding to 20:07 GMT 0070.
