KSGAAL Releases Four New Studies On Global State Of Arabic Language
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) has unveiled four new publications under the "Arabic in the World" series. This initiative aims to foster communication with Arabic speakers globally. The latest releases highlight the status of the Arabic language in various countries, offering insights into individuals, institutions, and entities that support the language.
The 2024 publications include "The Arabic Language in Chad," "The Arabic Language in Thailand," "The Arabic Language in Kyrgyzstan: A Descriptive, Analytical, and Critical Study," and "The Arabic Language in the Comoros." These books are available for download to assist researchers focused on Arabic language studies, planning, policy, and linguistic academia within Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, Secretary General of KSGAAL, emphasized that the launch of the "Specialized Global Research Track" project aligns with the academy's strategic goals. This initiative addresses scientific needs and linguistic challenges while filling research gaps and expanding knowledge horizons both locally and globally.
This project supports the Human Capability Development Program, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030. It is part of KSGAAL's broader publishing program that covers various linguistic aspects. The program has engaged 1,097 researchers from 76 countries, resulting in studies across 84 countries on all continents and the publication of 218 books.
KSGAAL's extensive publishing efforts also include six scientific journals with a total of 51 issues. These journals cover diverse research topics related to the Arabic language. The academy encourages researchers and specialists to share their scientific work via email at [email protected].
Dr. Al-Washmi noted that this initiative complements specialized linguistic publishing tracks aligned with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives. It aims to meet scientific needs, address linguistic challenges, fill research gaps, and open diverse knowledge horizons locally and globally.
