KSGAAL And MWL Host Celebrations For World Arabic Language Day In Makkah

The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) and the Muslim World League (MWL) recently wrapped up their inaugural events for World Arabic Language Day at the MWL headquarters in Makkah. The gathering was attended by Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of MWL, Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi, Secretary-General of KSGAAL, and numerous scholars and cultural experts.

Dr. Al-Issa expressed pride in the collaboration between MWL and KSGAAL to support the Arabic language. He emphasised that these efforts are part of Saudi Arabia's broader commitment to strengthening Arabic through various initiatives. These include linguistic planning, policy development, digital platforms, dictionaries, and cultural programs aimed at enhancing linguistic identity.

The event also featured a scientific and cultural program with discussions on the status of Arabic in the Islamic world.
