KSGAAL Launches 'Kalamona' Video Series To Enhance Arabic Language Awareness At HCI Conference
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) has introduced a video series named 'Kalamona,' meaning 'Our Words,' to enhance linguistic awareness. This initiative was unveiled at the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) conference 2025. The series aims to make Arabic language content engaging and accessible through short video clips.
These videos, each lasting under two minutes, will be available on digital platforms. They feature insights from over 50 scholars and experts in Arabic language and its sciences from across the Arab world. The series intends to produce more than 500 clips covering various aspects of the Arabic language.

The content will address topics like common linguistic errors, simplifying grammatical rules, and discussions on Arabic dictionaries and dialects. It will also delve into discourse analysis and issues related to linguistic identity. Additionally, the series explores the relationship between Arabic and other languages.
The impact of artificial intelligence on the Arabic language is another key area of focus. The series highlights the importance of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, aiming to simplify complex linguistic concepts creatively for both specialists and general audiences.
KSGAAL's initiative serves as a valuable resource for anyone interested in exploring the nuances and beauty of the Arabic language in a modern context. It underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to preserving the purity of Arabic while showcasing its development across various fields.
