KSGAAL Concludes Successful Arabic Language Month Programme In Thailand

The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) recently wrapped up its "Arabic Language Month in Thailand," which took place from November 4 to December 2 in Bangkok and Hat Yai. This initiative, in partnership with Krirk University and Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, aimed to enhance Arabic language curricula, improve teacher performance, and promote the language within Thailand.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi, Secretary General of KSGAAL, expressed gratitude for the support from Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Trustees Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. This backing aligns with the Human Capability Development Program's goals. The program included a scientific symposium focused on teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.

The symposium delved into four main themes: Saudi Arabia’s contributions to global Arabic teaching, the status of Arabic institutions and curricula in Thailand, challenges faced by educators and students, and complexities in dual-language education. These discussions aimed to address key issues in Arabic language education.

Workshops, training sessions, and panel discussions complemented the symposium. These activities were designed to refine teaching methods and improve learning outcomes for those studying Arabic. The initiative is part of KSGAAL’s broader scientific programs on Arabic language teaching.

KSGAAL has successfully implemented similar projects in countries like Indonesia, China, India, Uzbekistan, Brazil, and France. Through these efforts, the academy continues to broaden its international presence and build global partnerships in Arabic language education.

This initiative underscores KSGAAL’s mission to preserve and promote the Arabic language while elevating its global status. It also highlights Saudi Arabia's leading role in supporting Arabic language education worldwide by offering direct training for educators and enhancing teaching practices.

The program reflects a commitment to ensuring the sustainability of the Arabic language across diverse cultures. By fostering these educational initiatives, KSGAAL aims to secure a lasting impact on global Arabic language education.
