Saudi Arabia Strengthens Support For Muslims In Montenegro Through Cultural Ties
The Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Sulaiman Al-Muhanna, recently engaged in discussions with several key figures from Montenegro's Rozaje Municipality. Among those present were Rahman Husovic, President of the Rozaje Municipality; Armin Honsic, Vice President; Almir Avdić, President of the Municipal Assembly; and Reyhan ef. Hot, Head of Imams in Rozaje Municipality. The meeting also included notable political and Islamic personalities from the city.
During the meeting, Rahman Husovic expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia's significant role in supporting Muslims in Montenegro. He acknowledged the Kingdom's efforts to strengthen religious and cultural ties between the two nations. Husovic also praised Saudi leadership for its continuous support of Islamic authorities in Montenegro and its promotion of Islam's noble values.

Armin Honsic highlighted that the visit by Sheikh Al-Muhanna underscores the deep-rooted connections with Montenegro's Islamic authority. This relationship is evident through active community engagement and collaborative projects with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. These initiatives reflect a shared commitment to fostering strong ties between both countries.
Sheikh Al-Muhanna commended the enduring relationships between Saudi Arabia and the broader Islamic world. He noted that since its founding by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, Saudi Arabia has consistently supported Muslim minorities globally. This dedication continues under King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Imam emphasized Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to promoting Islamic brotherhood worldwide. He highlighted how this mission aligns with supporting Muslim causes across different regions. The Kingdom remains dedicated to enhancing cooperation with Muslims in Montenegro, thereby reinforcing values of moderation, love, and peace within Islamic communities.
