During a recent dialogue session at the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference, Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan emphasized the importance of a collective global approach in developing human capabilities to meet future challenges in education. The session, titled 'Shedding Light on Education', highlighted the alignment of global human capital development agendas with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Al-Benyan underscored the Kingdom's commitment to maintaining a leadership role in enhancing and developing human capabilities.
Al-Benyan stressed the significance of focusing on long-term educational outcomes and evaluating the impact of education levels and competencies to fulfill goals and aspirations. He pointed out that both the public and private sectors play crucial roles in human capital development, which is a key priority for progress. The minister also noted an ongoing substantial improvement in national programs within the Kingdom, with a 19-point increase according to indicators and a fivefold global improvement.

Highlighting the ministry's achievements, Al-Benyan shared that early education programs initiated a few years ago have seen significant progress. From achieving a 10% rate in 2019, early education has now reached 34%, with an ambitious goal to hit 90% by 2030. He emphasized the importance of investing in teachers to enhance their skills as part of this effort.
The HCI Conference serves as a crucial platform for professionals and experts in human resources to come together. It facilitates the exchange of ideas, experiences, and solutions aimed at bolstering the roles of human resources departments, institutional services, and other sectors. This gathering underscores the collective effort towards advancing human capital development, aligning closely with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives.
The conference not only sheds light on current achievements and future goals within the Kingdom's education sector but also fosters a collaborative environment for sharing best practices and innovative solutions. As Saudi Arabia continues to make strides in education and human capital development, such platforms play an integral role in shaping a bright future for the sector.
