Riyadh, SPA – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has mandated the hosting of 1,300 pilgrims from over 88 countries for this year's Hajj. This includes 1,000 pilgrims from families of martyrs, prisoners, and wounded Palestinians, as well as 22 pilgrims from families of conjoined twins separated in the Kingdom.
The initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. This program is supervised and implemented annually by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their continuous support for Muslims worldwide.

Dr. Al Al-Sheikh highlighted that the Royal gesture aims to foster unity and brotherhood among Muslims by facilitating their pilgrimage at the expense of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He noted that since the issuance of the Royal order, the ministry has been actively preparing to host these pilgrims.
The ministry has developed a strategic plan involving several committees dedicated to ensuring the well-being of the guests. The plan covers all aspects from the pilgrims' departure from their home countries to their arrival in Saudi Arabia. It ensures that they receive all necessary facilitations to perform Umrah and Hajj with ease.
Additionally, the plan includes arrangements for visiting Madinah and performing prayers at the Prophet's Mosque. The ministry's comprehensive approach aims to provide a seamless experience for all pilgrims under this program.
Since its inception 26 years ago, more than 60,000 pilgrims have benefited from this program. The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting Muslims globally and enhancing their spiritual journey during Hajj.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh reiterated his appreciation for King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's efforts in making this program a success year after year. The ministry remains dedicated to upholding the high standards set by this initiative.
