King Salman Global Academy Unveils Digital Toolkit For World Arabic Language Day Celebration
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has unveiled a digital toolkit themed "Proud of it." This release is part of preparations for World Arabic Language Day, celebrated every year on December 18. The initiative aims to enhance the celebration of the Arabic language across public and private sectors and among individuals, showcasing the Kingdom's support for the language.
This initiative aligns with World Arabic Language Day, established by a UN General Assembly resolution that recognised Arabic as one of the official languages of the United Nations. The day is dedicated to raising awareness about the history, culture, and evolution of the Arabic language through various specialised activities and events.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has chosen "Arabic Language and AI – Advancing Innovation While Preserving Cultural Heritage" as this year's theme for World Arabic Language Day. This theme underscores the importance of innovation while maintaining cultural heritage.
The academy’s digital toolkit provides linguistic information and supportive ideas, enriching resources related to the Arabic language. It aims to honour the language, elevate its status, and empower institutions and individuals involved in Arabic language fields ahead of World Arabic Language Day.
World Arabic Language Day serves as a platform to reinforce the cultural and historical legacy of the Arabic language. Through this annual observance, efforts are made to highlight its significance in global culture and communication.
This toolkit reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to promoting the Arabic language under its wise leadership. By offering valuable resources, it supports institutions and empowers individuals working with the language, ensuring its continued relevance in modern times.
The program associated with World Arabic Language Day includes a variety of activities designed to engage participants in learning about the rich history and development of the Arabic language. These efforts aim to foster a deeper appreciation for its role in global heritage.
As preparations continue for World Arabic Language Day on December 18, these initiatives highlight both innovation in technology and preservation of cultural heritage within the context of the Arabic language.
