Comprehensive Archaeological Survey Initiated At King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve

In a significant move towards preserving Saudi Arabia's cultural heritage, the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority has initiated a comprehensive archaeological survey. This initiative, launched in alignment with World Heritage Day on April 18, aims to meticulously assess the archaeological and historical aspects of the reserve. The survey's primary goal is to align with the strategic objectives outlined in the 2030 Vision for royal reserves, emphasizing the conservation and promotion of Saudi Arabia's rich heritage.

The survey is a collaborative effort, involving expertise from King Saud University and the Saudi Heritage Commission. A team of national experts, recognized for their proficiency in archaeology and history, will spearhead this project. Utilizing dual methodologies, the survey will incorporate satellite imaging and extensive field inspections to gather detailed data on each site within the reserve.
