The library houses 8,571 books on heritage, over 8,000 manuscripts, and 35,000 rare books. Additionally, it holds 700 rare maps of the Arabian Peninsula dating back to 1482.

The library promotes reading across all societal segments through mobile learning resource buses. These buses deliver knowledge to villages, rural areas, gardens, and public centres throughout Saudi Arabia. This initiative ensures that even remote communities have access to educational resources.

A key aspect of the library's cultural mission involves preserving numismatic history. It has collected over 8,000 rare coins made of gold, silver, and bronze from various Islamic periods. This collection highlights the rich monetary history of the region.

This month marks a milestone for the library’s scientific publishing program with over 700 publications. These include Arabic and translated books, international language titles, and children's literature. Since its inception, the library has prioritised books as a primary knowledge source.
