Kidana Introduces Innovative Projects To Improve Pilgrims' Comfort In Arafat During Hajj
Kidana Development Company has launched several initiatives in Arafat to enhance the pilgrim experience. Their main project, Mitigating the Effects of Heat Stress, aims to lower temperatures over 196,000 square meters in Jabal Al-Rahma. This effort is designed to reduce heat exposure during Hajj rituals.
To achieve this, Kidana has installed 1,200 square meters of canopies and 129 misting fans. These measures help cool the environment significantly. Additionally, the courtyards around Namira Mosque have seen improvements with 320 canopies and 350 misting columns added for better shading and cooling.

Over 20,000 trees have been planted across 290,000 square meters to improve both the spiritual and environmental atmosphere for pilgrims. This greening effort not only provides shade but also enhances the overall experience by creating a more serene environment.
A new pedestrian path cooling project spans 60,000 square meters of shaded walkways equipped with misting fans. This initiative is crucial in protecting pilgrims from harsh sunlight as they travel between important sites.
Water access points have been upgraded with modern water coolers covering 2,400 square meters. These coolers are strategically placed to ensure all pilgrims have easy and fair access to water during their journey.
Kidana has also set up rest areas along main routes. These areas include seating, misting fans, umbrellas, commercial kiosks, and rubber flooring to provide comfort and convenience for pilgrims as they navigate through the holy sites.
The comprehensive efforts by Kidana Development Company aim to significantly improve the comfort and experience of pilgrims during Hajj. By addressing heat stress and enhancing facilities, these initiatives contribute to a more pleasant pilgrimage journey.
