Khalifa University Launches New BSc Programme In Robotics And Artificial Intelligence
Khalifa University of Science and Technology has introduced a new full-time Bachelor's programme in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This initiative aims to provide students with the essential knowledge and skills needed for technological progress and innovation in these fields.
The interdisciplinary curriculum combines theoretical learning with practical experience. It covers robotics, AI, computer, electronic and mechanical engineering, and mathematics. This prepares graduates for diverse careers in a rapidly expanding field.

Students will engage with the latest advancements in robotics and AI technology. They will explore trends such as autonomous vehicles and drones, developing systems that enhance human-robot interaction. Healthcare robotics for surgical assistance, rehabilitation, and elderly care are also growing areas of focus.
The programme utilises Khalifa University's advanced facilities, including specialised robotics labs equipped with modern hardware and software. Students will gain practical experience in labs like the Robot Navigation and Control Lab, Robot Sensing and Perception Lab, and Robot Systems Lab. Each lab spans around 100 square meters and features motion tracking systems and various robot platforms.
