Al Hosn Festival 2026 Visit Highlights Emirati Heritage As Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Attends
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has visited Al Hosn Festival 2026 at Qasr Al Hosn, where cultural, artistic and heritage activities are being held until 1 February 2026, highlighting Emirati identity and Abu Dhabi’s long-standing social and cultural traditions.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi is organising the festival at the historic Qasr Al Hosn site. The programme runs across 16 days and brings together heritage performances, educational activities and entertainment experiences that encourage community participation and highlight the diversity of Emirati customs and creative expression.

In its tenth edition, Al Hosn Festival 2026 features an extensive schedule of events that focus on authentic Emirati identity and heritage. Activities explore the cultural values, family practices and social customs that have influenced Abu Dhabi’s community life across generations, presenting them through live demonstrations, workshops and interactive displays.
During the tour of Al Hosn Festival 2026, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed viewed handicraft exhibitions and artistic works that present traditional skills and design. The displays show crafts linked to daily life, maritime traditions and inland communities, while cultural activities seek to integrate national heritage into contemporary community life.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated that Al Hosn Festival and similar cultural and heritage initiatives are crucial for protecting national identity. The events help strengthen understanding of its values among younger people and pass heritage to current and future generations through updated methods that support links between different age groups.
Al Hosn Festival 2026 also aims to keep culture central to national identity by combining traditional content with modern presentation. Through performances, storytelling sessions and creative programmes, the festival encourages residents and visitors to discover customs, language expressions and artistic practices that have shaped Abu Dhabi’s development.

Sheikh Khaled, along with several sheikhs and their children, underscoring institutional support for Al Hosn Festival 2026 and its role in sustaining Emirati heritage.
