Final Round of Jiu-Jitsu Championship Tomorrow

Mubarak Saleh Al Menhali, Director of the Technical Department at the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, highlighted that this final round signifies an exceptional season's end. He noted remarkable progress in athlete performance and increased participation in jiu-jitsu nationwide. "The second edition of the championship has further established its position as a leading platform for developing and refining talent in line with the highest technical standards," he stated.

Al Menhali emphasised that Gi competitions are characterised by their technical variety and tactical depth. They focus on precision, defensive discipline, and traditional control techniques. This approach allows athletes to broaden their experience and balance their skills across both Gi and No-Gi disciplines.

The championship offers a total prize pool of AED 3 million. This increase follows directives from H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. His initiative reflects ongoing support for jiu-jitsu's growth and his commitment to motivating athletes to excel in all competitions.

This championship not only showcases athletic talent but also serves as a crucial platform for preparing athletes for future national and international challenges. The event underscores its importance in nurturing talent according to high technical standards.
