KFSHRC And Ilmi Sign MoU To Advance Scientific Knowledge And Community Wellbeing
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the ilmi Science Discovery and Innovation Center at the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk). This collaboration focuses on scientific engagement, health education, and community wellbeing. The partnership is designed to foster innovation, promote knowledge-based programs, and support research that benefits society.
The agreement was formalised by Dr. Esam Albanyan, Chief Education and Training Officer of KFSHRC, and Dr. Saud Alfaadhel, CEO of ilmi. Senior representatives from both organisations attended the signing ceremony. The memorandum outlines plans to create interactive educational experiences, share scientific expertise, and improve research quality and knowledge content.

The partnership grants ilmi access to KFSHRC’s expert networks to boost knowledge production. This will enrich ilmi’s educational programs, scientific exhibitions, and interactive learning experiences. Joint research projects are planned in fields like medicine, life sciences, bio intelligence, bioinformatics, and biotechnology.
Additionally, the agreement includes developing training and educational programs. It also involves joint initiatives such as training visits, seminars, workshops, and short diploma courses. Both parties aim to explore further partnership opportunities in areas of shared interest.
This collaboration aligns with KFSHRC’s mission to enhance scientific literacy across Saudi Arabia. It aims to connect scientific knowledge with societal needs while providing top-tier specialised healthcare within an integrated educational environment. The initiative also contributes to human capital development and improves quality of life.
