KFSHRC And Royal Commission For Yanbu Sign Agreement To Enhance Specialized Healthcare Access
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) in Madinah has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Royal Commission Health Services Program Yanbu. This initiative, under the patronage of Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, aims to enhance access to specialized healthcare services. The collaboration seeks to improve integration among healthcare providers and elevate the quality of healthcare services offered.
The agreement was formalized by Abdulhadi bin Abdulrahman Al-Juhani, CEO of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, and Dr. Emad bin Mohammed Khadawardi, Acting General Manager of KFSHRC. It includes provisions for referring patients needing specialized care and integrating medical support services between the two entities. Additionally, it focuses on sharing expertise and resources to achieve high standards of excellence and quality in healthcare.

This partnership also emphasizes collaboration in education and training for the workforce of both organizations. By working together, they aim to enhance skills and knowledge among their staff, ultimately benefiting patient care. The agreement represents a significant step towards fostering a more integrated healthcare system in the region.
KFSHRC Madinah is equipped with 400 beds and serves not only the local community but also surrounding areas. The hospital specializes in pediatric and adult oncology, ophthalmology, as well as obstetrics and gynaecology. Its comprehensive services are supported by its achievements in obtaining 14 accreditations for training across various medical and nursing specialities.
KFSHRC has been recognized as a leading institution in healthcare both regionally and globally. It has been ranked first in the Middle East and Africa, and 20th worldwide among the top 250 Academic Medical Centres for two consecutive years.
