KFSHRC Madinah Honoured With Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz Medal For Social Responsibility In Healthcare

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC) in Madinah has been awarded the 2023 Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Social Responsibility Award in the medical sector. This accolade, under the patronage of Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, highlights the hospital's commitment to delivering top-notch healthcare services since its inception in late 2021.

The award was presented to Dr. Emad Khadawardi, Acting General Manager of KFSHRC Madinah, during a ceremony at Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University. The event was attended by several dignitaries and officials. Dr. Khadawardi was recognised for his efforts in enhancing social responsibility and medical services in the region.

KFSHRC Madinah boasts a capacity of 400 beds and provides specialised services in various fields. These include pediatric and adult oncology, ophthalmology, as well as obstetrics and gynaecology. The hospital has also achieved 14 accreditations for training across different medical and nursing specialities.

In terms of global recognition, KFSHRC has been ranked first in the Middle East and Africa among academic medical centres. It also holds the 20th position globally on the list of the world's top 250 Academic Medical Centers for two consecutive years.

The hospital has been acknowledged as the most valuable healthcare brand in both Saudi Arabia and the Middle East according to Brand Finance's 2024 rankings. Additionally, Newsweek magazine included it in their World's Best Smart Hospitals list for 2025.
