KFSHRC Celebrates Long-Serving Employees At Pioneers Celebration 2025 Event
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) recently celebrated its Pioneers Celebration 2025, honouring employees who have dedicated two decades to patient care. This event acknowledged their significant contributions, which have helped establish the hospital as a global leader in specialised healthcare. The celebration reflected the hospital's deep appreciation for these employees' careers and the impact they have made over the years.
KFSHRC's Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Björn Zoëga, praised the honorees for their professionalism and dedication. He highlighted their role in maintaining the hospital's operational stability and institutional strength. Their discipline and expertise have been crucial in developing a resilient healthcare system that meets the increasing demands of specialised care.

The hospital remains committed to supporting its staff through various development and well-being programs. KFSHRC has achieved notable rankings globally. It is ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa and 15th worldwide among the top 250 academic medical centres for 2025 by Brand Finance. Additionally, it holds the highest-valued healthcare brand status in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
The hospital has also been recognised by Newsweek as one of the World’s Best Hospitals for 2025. It is listed among the World’s Best Smart Hospitals for 2026 and World’s Best Specialised Hospitals for 2026.
The event was attended by KFSHRC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Majid Alfayyadh along with several hospital leaders. In his remarks, Dr. Zoëga emphasised how these pioneers' accumulated experience has shaped a healthcare system capable of meeting rising expectations for quality and efficiency in a rapidly evolving sector.
