KFSHRC Celebrates Graduation Of 232 Nursing Trainees To Enhance Healthcare Competencies
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) recently celebrated the graduation of 200 nursing trainees from its Clinical Internship Program. Additionally, 32 students completed the fourth cohort of the Nursing Transition to Professional Practice Program. This event highlights KFSHRC's dedication to enhancing national healthcare skills and preparing professionals to advance the health sector effectively.
The ceremony marked the end of a year-long intensive clinical training program. Trainees from 20 Saudi universities participated in this program, which aimed to blend theoretical knowledge with practical skills. This approach is intended to improve healthcare service quality by preparing nursing professionals for real-world challenges.

The training involved multiple tracks where participants rotated through critical departments such as intensive care, emergency, and inpatient units. Under the guidance of specialized nursing teams, they gained hands-on experience in patient care and treatment planning. They also learned to use advanced medical technologies while adhering to high safety and quality standards.
KFSHRC has been a leader in medical education for over 40 years. It has established approximately 160 training programs across various specialized fields, many of which have received international recognition. Some programs are unique within the region, underscoring KFSHRC's commitment to excellence in healthcare education.
The graduation of these nursing trainees emphasizes KFSHRC’s ongoing role in qualifying healthcare professionals capable of delivering comprehensive, high-quality patient care. The institution was ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa and 15th globally among the top 250 academic medical centers for 2025.
Brand Finance recognized KFSHRC in 2024 as the most valuable healthcare brand in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Furthermore, it was listed among Newsweek’s World’s Best Smart Hospitals for 2025, highlighting its status as a leading healthcare institution.
