KFCRIS Partners With UNESCO To Launch Chair In Translating Cultures

The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) has launched the UNESCO Chair in Translating Cultures. This initiative, supported by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission (LPTC), aims to foster research and partnerships in cultural translation. It seeks to build bridges between civilizations, promoting diverse cultural dialogues.

Dr. Mohammed Hasan Alwan, CEO of LPTC, highlighted that this initiative aligns with the Ministry of Culture's goals under Saudi Vision 2030. Represented by Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the ministry shows a strong interest in cultural development. Dr. Alwan noted that the UNESCO Chair will enhance international cooperation in research and development.
