Kersten Group Expands Operations With New Production Facility In Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone
Kersten Group has expanded its operations in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) by opening a new production facility in the Al Hamra Industrial Zone. This development is a significant step in the company's growth, enhancing its ability to support key projects across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the broader GCC region.
The company, with over 60 years of experience, is headquartered in the Netherlands and has additional facilities in Germany and Poland. Kersten Group has contributed to iconic structures like the Museum of the Future, Burj Khalifa, and Al Wasl Dome at Dubai Expo City. The new facility spans 12,190 m² and includes a production hall and office space. It is designed for efficiency with 24-hour production shifts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality curved metal components.

To meet growing demand and improve efficiency, Kersten Group strategically decided to establish a larger production unit in RAKEZ. This expansion increases operational capacity and scalability to meet market needs. The company plans further enhancements with on-site labour accommodation construction starting in Q3 2025 and a second production hall by Q3 2026.
RAKEZ provided seamless support throughout this process, offering infrastructure, resources, and guidance for smooth setup and transition. Ron Puyn, Owner of Kersten Group, expressed confidence in the UAE market's potential for growth supported by their new facility.
Ramy Jallad, CEO of RAKEZ Group, stated that Kersten Group's expansion highlights Ras Al Khaimah's status as a thriving industrial hub. The emirate aims to foster an environment where companies can innovate and succeed easily. RAKEZ is committed to providing businesses with comprehensive support for setup, expansion, and long-term growth.
Jallad added that Ras Al Khaimah is experiencing significant growth with large-scale infrastructure projects shaping its future. As demand for advanced construction materials rises, industries like metal bending play a crucial role in delivering innovation needed for these developments.
Future Prospects for Kersten Group
The expanded presence in RAKEZ positions Kersten Group well to take on new projects and continue delivering world-class metal bending solutions across the UAE and international markets. Their investment reinforces Ras Al Khaimah's position as a leading industrial hub offering businesses a thriving environment to scale and succeed.
"The Future is Curved!" said Ron Puyn confidently about their prospects in the Middle East market with their new production facility at RAKEZ Al Hamra Industrial Zone.
