Since its inception in 2016 by Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, the Kalimat Foundation has been steadfast in its commitment to ensuring children's right to read and access knowledge sources. This is particularly focused on those affected by wars and conflicts in their home countries and visually impaired children. The foundation's principles are deeply rooted in education, knowledge dissemination, and the belief in culture's role in addressing societal challenges. It aims to nurture a generation capable of creating a brighter future.
With this new leadership structure, the Kalimat Foundation reaffirms its dedication to advancing literacy among some of the most vulnerable groups in society. Through strategic planning and implementation of its initiatives, it continues to make significant strides towards achieving its goals.
