K2 Autocraft Unveils Vision For EVTOL Port At Dubai Air Show 2023
K2’s Autocraft is set to unveil a futuristic vision of urban mobility at the Dubai Air Show (DAS) from 17th to 21st November. The company's exhibit will simulate a luxurious Vertiport experience, illustrating how people might book and board flights in the future. Although no actual flights will occur, visitors can engage with the process, from booking via barcode scanning to walking through gates autonomously.
Sean Teo, Managing Director at K2, highlighted the transformative potential of eVTOL technology in urban mobility. He stated, "Urban mobility is entering a transformative era, and eVTOL technology sits at the heart of that evolution." As cities expand and seek smarter transport solutions, eVTOLs are expected to significantly influence how people commute.

Teo further expressed pride in contributing to this innovative phase. "We are proud to be contributing to this new chapter, where innovation in the skies will dramatically enhance mobility on the ground," he added. This showcases K2's commitment to advancing aerial and ground transportation technologies.
The centrepiece of Autocraft’s display is the E20+ eVTOL, which boasts wings capable of reaching speeds up to 320 km/hr. This model exemplifies cutting-edge advancements in aerial transit technology. Visitors will have an opportunity to explore these innovations firsthand at the show.
Waleed Alblooshi, Vice President of Strategy at K2, emphasized their broader vision for urban mobility. "At the Dubai Airshow, we’re showcasing more than an eVTOL port experience and a futuristic car; we’re presenting a glimpse of tomorrow’s Urban Mobility," he said. The focus is on creating infrastructure that supports seamless transitions between air and ground travel.
Alblooshi also noted that their efforts are not just about future possibilities but are actively shaping current developments. "From seamless aerial transit to intelligent ground travel, we’re building the infrastructure and innovations that will redefine how the world moves. The future of mobility isn’t ahead of us; it’s taking off right here," he remarked.
This event provides a platform for K2’s Autocraft to demonstrate its role in pioneering new transport solutions. By integrating autonomous technologies into everyday travel experiences, they aim to redefine urban commuting landscapes globally.
