Justice Minister Inaugurates Key Judicial Training Event In Riyadh

In a significant move towards enhancing the judicial system within the Kingdom, Dr. Waleed bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, the Minister of Justice, inaugurated the International Conference on Judicial Training. This pivotal event, spanning two days, has garnered attention worldwide, drawing in over 600 specialists and 45 renowned speakers and experts in the legal field. The conference aims to delve into the future of judiciary and judicial training amidst the ongoing digital transformation.

Dr. Al-Samaani highlighted the substantial strides made in various sectors since the inception of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, spearheaded by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasized the Ministry of Justice's commitment to enhancing the objectivity and efficiency of the justice system through rigorous training, qualification, and management of forensic knowledge.

Riyadh's Major Judicial Training Event

The focus on training and qualification as essential components for achieving justice was underscored by Dr. Al-Samaani. He pointed out that the Judicial Training Center is at the forefront of qualifying members of the justice and legal system through collaboration with various sector partners, ensuring top-tier training and qualification are provided.

Under HRH the Crown Prince's leadership, Saudi Arabia is witnessing a major legislative development aimed at reinforcing legal principles, justice, transparency, and objectivity in rulings. The adoption of innovative methods such as digitalization and artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in this transformation.

The conference features seven sessions and multiple workshops focused on exploring the judiciary's future and judicial training in light of digital advancements. Discussions will cover developing training content, employing modern technology and artificial intelligence in judicial processes and training, and effectively measuring training impact.

This gathering marks a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia's journey towards judicial excellence, reflecting a broader commitment to modernize its legal framework in alignment with Vision 2030's objectives. The emphasis on digital transformation within the judicial sector signifies a forward-thinking approach to adapting to technological advancements, ensuring that Saudi Arabia's justice system remains robust, transparent, and equitable.
