Coalition Forces In Yemen Suffer Losses: Two Martyrs And One Injured From Cowardly Attack

A statement from Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki, the Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, has been released. It addresses a tragic incident involving the death of an officer and a non-commissioned officer, along with injuries to another officer. This occurred due to a deceitful attack within the Coalition Forces’ camp in Seiyun City.

The attack took place on Friday evening, November 8th, 2024, targeting the Coalition Forces stationed in Seiyun City. These forces are engaged in supporting and training the First Military Region forces to combat terrorism and smuggling. They also play a significant role in humanitarian and developmental efforts in Yemen.

Coalition Forces in Yemen Face Tragic Attack

The assault happened during training exercises and was executed by an individual linked to the Yemeni Ministry of Defense. The Joint Forces Command emphasized that this "Lone Wolf" attack does not reflect the values of the Yemeni Ministry of Defense members. Many have shown gratitude for the Coalition's support in humanitarian efforts that ease the suffering of Yemen's people.

The deceased and injured have been returned to Saudi Arabia. The Joint Forces Command is collaborating with the Yemeni Ministry of Defense to investigate and capture the attacker. They aim to bring him to justice while uncovering the motives behind this act.
