Jewels Of Emirates Show Opens At Expo Centre Sharjah On 28 January 2025
Expo Centre Sharjah is preparing to host the seventh Jewels of Emirates Show from 28th January to 1st February 2025, bringing together leading names in the gold and jewellery sector and positioning Sharjah as a key destination for regional and international buyers, designers, collectors, and investors.
The event is organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). More than 180 UAE jewellery manufacturers, over 500 brands, and several international designers are scheduled to participate, offering diamond, platinum, gold, silver, gemstone, pearl, and luxury watch collections.

Since its launch in 2020, the Jewels of Emirates Show has reported steady increases in exhibitor numbers, visitor turnout, occupied space, and diversity of exhibits. This sustained expansion attracts prestigious global brands and supports Sharjah’s ambition to serve as a regional and international hub for high-end jewellery trade.
The 2025 edition covers 12,000 square metres of exhibition area, reflecting larger participation from the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Exhibitors plan to display luxurious gold and diamond sets, bespoke watches, and contemporary jewellery designs, targeting both professional buyers and private collectors from different markets.
Over five days, the Jewels of Emirates Show will welcome elite designers, high-value buyers, and jewellery enthusiasts. National pavilions are expected from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Singapore, Thailand, Russia, Turkey, Pakistan, India, and Italy, presenting a wide range of styles and craftsmanship under one roof.
The exhibition also highlights Emirati talent through a dedicated showcase of locally designed jewellery. Exclusive Emirati pieces are crafted with detailed workmanship, reflecting the advanced capabilities of the UAE gold and jewellery industry and reinforcing confidence in local production standards among regional and international visitors.
Jewels of Emirates Show strategic role and market confidence
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, stated that rising exhibitor participation, visitor volumes, and transaction values from past editions reflect strong confidence in the Jewels of Emirates Show. The event has become a strategic meeting point for businesses across the gold and jewellery supply chain.
He emphasised that the exhibition strengthens the UAE’s jewellery sector and supports Sharjah’s role as a key industry hub. "Expo Centre Sharjah is keen to expand international participation, attract new global brands, and enhance the presence of Emirati designers during this year’s edition. The exhibition’s timing at the beginning of the year further boosts its commercial appeal, especially amid increasing gold demand in the UAE, providing a strong incentive for businesses to participate and leverage this market momentum," Al Midfa added.

Jewels of Emirates Show and Sharjah Pearls Exhibition heritage focus
The seventh Jewels of Emirates Show will once again host the second edition of the "Sharjah Pearls Exhibition". This event is organised by Suwaidi Pearls with SCCI, in strategic partnership with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and places special attention on the UAE’s maritime history.
The Sharjah Pearls Exhibition aims to revive the legacy of natural pearls and highlight their historic and artistic value. It also seeks to support broader growth in gemstones and jewellery, reinforcing Sharjah’s status as a leading regional and global centre for related industries and heritage-linked products.
The 2nd Sharjah Pearls Exhibition features cultural and heritage-focused activities centred on pearl traditions. One highlight is a pearl-crafting workshop that uses traditional equipment and tools, allowing visitors to observe and experience historic UAE jewellery-making methods in a practical, hands-on setting.
A heritage-style Majlis dedicated to pearl trading forms part of the programme. The space showcases original trade tools, explains traditional buying and selling processes, and offers visitors the chance to purchase natural pearls while learning about methods used by earlier generations of traders.
The agenda further includes curated cultural evenings involving pearl divers, pearl traders, and gemstone experts, who share specialist knowledge with attendees. Entertainment competitions with valuable prizes are also planned, encouraging public participation and delivering an experience that combines culture, learning, and enjoyment.
Jewels of Emirates Show business environment and sector impact
The Jewels of Emirates Show is positioned as a platform where innovation and heritage in jewellery meet. Exhibitors can present new collections, explore regional demand, and scale operations, while buyers access a wide choice of designs at different price points within one structured commercial environment.
By drawing international brands, supporting Emirati designers, and adding heritage-focused content, the event contributes to the broader development of the UAE’s jewellery ecosystem. Its continued scale, free public access, and combined trade and cultural agenda underscore its growing importance for both industry stakeholders and visitors.
