Jeddah Corniche Circuit Hosts First Race Of Fourth Round In Aramco Formula 4 Championship
The fourth round of the Aramco Formula 4 Saudi Arabian Championship, approved by the FIA, kicked off with its first race on Friday night at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) oversaw the event, which featured 14 drivers from eight teams. The competition was intense, with young talents showcasing their improving skills.
Britain's Kit Belofsky emerged victorious, finishing 5.495 seconds ahead of Adam Al Azhari from the UAE. Sweden's Scott Lindblom secured third place, trailing the winner by 5.633 seconds. Thibaut Ramaekers and Lewis Wherrell completed the top five positions in fourth and fifth places, respectively.

Belofsky, Al Azhari, and Lindblom managed to surpass Wherrell at the start of the race. Despite Wherrell's persistent efforts to reclaim his position, they maintained their lead. Midway through the race, Ramaekers overtook Wherrell to secure fourth place.
The initial qualifying session was fiercely contested among Wherrell, Belofsky, and Al Azhari for pole position. In a dramatic finish, Wherrell clinched first place in the final moments. Belofsky followed closely in second place, while Al Azhari secured third. Lindblom and Ramaekers started in fourth and fifth positions on the grid.
The championship continued on Saturday with a second and final race at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, known as the world's fastest street track. Drivers were eager for a decisive showdown as some aimed to clinch the title early before the final round. Others sought to close the points gap to keep their championship hopes alive until the last stage.
As competitors strategised for upcoming races, fans anticipated thrilling contests ahead. The championship remains open with drivers pushing their limits at this high-speed circuit.
