Ithra Showcases Creativity At Downtown Design Riyadh With Workshops And Art Installations
The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, known as Ithra, is taking part in the first Downtown Design Riyadh event. This participation includes a panel discussion, three art installations, and interactive workshops. The session titled "Fostering Community in a Fast-Forward Market" focused on developing creative communities and the importance of creative education and collaboration across sectors.
Ithra's design installations at the event include Adeem, IWAN Pavilion, and Open Segments. These were created under Ithra’s annual Tanween design program. The installations were complemented by workshops that engaged participants of all ages in hands-on activities.

Sultan Albadran, who leads Ithra's Creativity and Innovation Unit, stressed the Center’s dedication to empowering designers. He mentioned that expanding designers' creative horizons and future ambitions is crucial. Exploring new forms of artistic expression is also a key focus for Ithra.
