Italy Showcases Innovative Energy Solutions At ADIPEC 2024 With 28 Leading Companies

Italy is gearing up to highlight its energy sector expertise at ADIPEC 2024, a major oil and gas exhibition in Abu Dhabi from 4-7 November 2024. The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) will coordinate the participation of 28 Italian firms, emphasizing Italy's significant role in the global energy landscape. This involvement highlights Italy's dedication to enhancing trade and technological ties with the UAE.

The Italian pavilion, organized by ITA alongside the Embassy of Italy in the UAE, will feature prominent companies from various sectors such as valves, pumps, turbines, actuators, compressors, and pressure equipment. These technologies are crucial for improving the efficiency and sustainability of oil extraction, refining, and transportation processes.

Italian technology plays a vital role in advancing a greener economy and ensuring a climate-safe future. This aligns with the objectives of the Paris Agreement and recent discussions at COP28 in Dubai. At ADIPEC 2024, Italian companies will showcase advanced technologies aimed at tackling global energy market challenges.

Italy's participation offers an excellent opportunity to deepen partnerships with the UAE and other key industry players. With a 22 percent increase in Italian exports to the UAE in 2024, this collaboration is expected to grow stronger as both countries invest in sustainable and innovative projects.

Italy's rising influence in the Middle East's energy market is evident through its steady growth. The demand for "Made in Italy" solutions has led Italy to capture 10 percent of the UAE’s oil and gas equipment imports. This solidifies its position as a crucial supplier in the sector.

Italian advancements, especially in midstream technologies like pipelines and LNG infrastructure, align well with the UAE’s ambitious energy goals. This synergy further strengthens the UAE-Italy Energy Partnership.
