International Firefighters Sport Federation Commends Saudi Arabia's Preparations For World Championship In Fire And Rescue Sport 2025
CHUPRIIAN ALEKSANDR, President of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, praised Saudi Arabia's readiness to host the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport 2025. The event is set for Riyadh from October 26 to November 1, with 22 countries participating. He highlighted the support of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz for the opening ceremony as a sign of the Kingdom's dedication to this international event.
Meetings between the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers and Saudi organizing committees are ongoing. These discussions aim to finalize all organizational, technical, and logistical aspects for the championship. CHUPRIIAN expressed confidence that Saudi Arabia will deliver an outstanding edition in the history of this championship.

The championship will see participation from 300 male and female athletes competing in four events: a 100-meter individual obstacle race, a 400-meter relay, ladder climbing, and a firefighting challenge.
