International Dates Council Participates In 122nd Session Of International Olive Council In Córdoba, Spain
The International Dates Council (IDC), led by Executive Director Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz, took part in the 122nd Session of the International Olive Council (IOC) in Córdoba, Spain. This event coincided with World Olive Day and the introduction of the "Córdoba Declaration." Representatives from 45 countries attended, highlighting the importance of international collaboration.
Princess Sarah delivered a statement during World Olive Day activities, underscoring the significance of the "Córdoba Declaration" in promoting global cooperation and sustainable growth. She stressed the IDC's dedication to adopting international best practices for advancing the dates sector, with strong backing from Saudi Arabia, where the IDC is based.

She also met with Arab ambassadors accredited to Spain and Saudi Ambassador to Spain Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin at the Arab League Mission headquarters in Madrid.
The IDC delegation reviewed various aspects of IOC member meetings. They examined how specialized committees operate and how budgets and financial reports are presented. These insights are intended to aid in refining institutional practices within the IDC and support its sustainability goals.
