Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Celebrates Winners At International Arabian Horse Beauty Show Closing Ceremony
The seventh annual International Show for the Beauty of Arabian Purebred Horses concluded at the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center in Riyadh. The event was held under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Representing him, Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz attended the closing ceremony.
Upon arrival, Prince Faisal was welcomed by Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley and Governor of Dhruma Ali Al-Qarni. The ceremony began with the Royal Anthem, followed by a display of mares participating in the competition. Prince Faisal then awarded prizes to the owners of winning stables.

In the Yearling Fillies category, Qaisar Al-Arab Stable's filly Marwa Al-Aoun received the gold medal. The silver medal went to Dossari Stable's filly De Tharfa, while Qaryan Stable's filly Sandy RS earned bronze. Prince Faisal also acknowledged sponsoring companies and participants involved in this year's show.
Minister Abdulrahman Alfadley, who chairs the Center's Board of Directors, presented a commemorative shield to Prince Faisal. This gesture was in appreciation of his presence at the event's conclusion. The show commenced last Wednesday and showcased 451 horses from 240 participants across various countries.
Participants hailed from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and the United States. This diverse representation highlighted the global interest in Arabian purebred horses and fostered international camaraderie among enthusiasts.
The event celebrated not only equine beauty but also cultural heritage and tradition associated with Arabian horses. It provided a platform for breeders to showcase their finest horses while promoting excellence in breeding practices.
The successful conclusion of this prestigious event underscores its significance in promoting Arabian horse beauty on an international stage. It continues to attract participants from around the world who share a passion for these magnificent creatures.
