Interior Ministry Affirms Commitment To Martyrs' Families With Hajj Support And Care

The Ministry of Interior, through its Agency for Military Affairs, is dedicated to supporting the families of martyrs and injured personnel. This humanitarian initiative showcases the leadership's commitment to its citizens. A significant aspect of this support is covering the costs for relatives of martyrs and injured personnel to perform Hajj this year. Additionally, they receive psychological, medical, and social care throughout the year.

Chief Sergeant Salem Al-Qahtani from the General Department for the Care of Martyrs and Injured Families shared insights about his 14-year service. He highlighted their deep connection with these families, describing it as familial. "We have followed the children of the martyrs since their early years, watching them grow—some are now our colleagues, while others are performing Hajj through this ongoing program under the leadership’s close supervision," he said.

Ministry Supports Martyrs' Families During Hajj

The department has developed various programs for beneficiaries, with a primary focus on facilitating their participation in Hajj at the Ministry's expense. This initiative underscores the Ministry's dedication to honouring those who sacrificed their lives for the nation and continuing care for their families. It reflects a consistent approach by leadership to support loyal citizens and ensure that martyrs' sacrifices are always remembered.

Ibrahim bin Abdulkarim Al-Zahrani, one of this year's beneficiaries who was injured in duty and is a brother to two martyrs, expressed his gratitude from Mina. He conveyed pride in the Kingdom’s steadfast support, stating that such care reassures them that the nation stands by their side and gives them strength to continue giving.

Al-Zahrani further mentioned that the ministry’s efforts under Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz are more than just support; they represent a message of loyalty reflecting state appreciation for martyrs' sacrifices and commitment to their families.

This ongoing program underlines how deeply rooted these values are within Saudi Arabia's leadership. The Ministry ensures that those who have given so much for their country receive due recognition and continued support through various means including facilitating religious obligations like Hajj.
