Integrated Transport Centre Collaborates With K2 To Enhance Smart Mobility Solutions In Abu Dhabi

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi has partnered with K2 to advance smart transport solutions. This collaboration, formalised during GITEX Global 2025, aims to foster a sustainable transport ecosystem. The focus is on enhancing quality of life and promoting innovation in mobility. The agreement outlines the development of frameworks for smart mobility, including autonomous vehicles and air taxis.

Dr Abdulla Hamad AlGhfeli from ITC and Sean Teo from K2 signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership highlights public-private cooperation to innovate urban transport. Both organisations aim to support Abu Dhabi's vision for a smarter, more efficient transport network.

ITC and K2 Join Forces for Smart Mobility

The MoU focuses on creating regulatory and operational frameworks for smart mobility in Abu Dhabi. It includes autonomous vehicles, delivery robots, and unmanned aerial vehicles for goods and passenger transport.
