Integrated Transport Centre Reveals Services Schedule For New Year Holiday In Abu Dhabi
The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) under the Department of Municipalities and Transport has outlined the operational schedule for various services during the New Year Holiday on Wednesday, 1st January 2025. This includes Customer Happiness Centres, surface parking, Darb toll gates, public buses, and Driver and Vehicle Licensing services.
Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed on Wednesday but will reopen on Thursday, 2nd January 2025. Despite the closure, customers can access services online through the Abu Dhabi Mobility website, Darbi and Darb platforms, or via the "TAMM" digital government services platform. For assistance, the unified Service Support Centre is available at 800850, and Taxi Call Centre can be reached at 600535353 around the clock.

On Wednesday, MAWAQiF surface parking fees will be waived. Normal charges will resume at 8:00 am on Thursday. Similarly, parking fees at Musaffah M-18 truck lot will not apply during this holiday. Drivers are advised to park only in designated areas and avoid residential spaces from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am to ensure smooth traffic flow.
The Darb toll gate system will also be free on Wednesday. Regular toll charges will return on Thursday during peak hours from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and again from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This aims to facilitate smoother travel during these busy times.
Public bus operations will follow weekend and official holiday schedules on Wednesday. Additional regional and intercity trips will be conducted to accommodate increased demand. This ensures that public transport remains accessible throughout the holiday period.
Abu Dhabi Mobility encourages drivers to adhere strictly to parking regulations and avoid any actions that could disrupt traffic flow. Proper use of designated parking spaces is essential for maintaining order and safety on the roads during this time.
This comprehensive plan by Abu Dhabi Mobility ensures that residents can enjoy a seamless experience with minimal disruption during the New Year celebrations while maintaining essential services across the city.
