2026 Launch: Abu Dhabi Mobility Unveils Groundbreaking Autonomous RoboTaxi Service

The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, is advancing autonomous mobility in Abu Dhabi. In partnership with Autogo, a subsidiary of Kintsugi Holding, and Apollo Go from China's Baidu, they have expanded the Autonomous RoboTaxi service. This initiative is a step towards launching the service fully by 2026, aligning with Abu Dhabi's vision for smart transport solutions.

The sixth generation of RoboTaxi vehicles, known as RT6, offers an intelligent mobility experience. These electric vehicles are equipped with AI systems for precise navigation and quick responses to road conditions. They aim to improve road safety by reducing human error and offer a more convenient travel option. Additionally, they support environmental goals by cutting emissions and easing traffic congestion.
