Insurance Authority Unveils Ingate Platform For Global Insurance Conference In Riyadh
The Insurance Authority has introduced a new digital platform called "ingate" to facilitate registration for the Global Insurance Conference and Exhibition. This event will take place in Diriyah, Riyadh, from November 10 to 12. The platform, accessible at https://www.ingate-global.com, has garnered significant interest from both local and international organisations involved in the insurance sector.
Eng. Naji Al-Tamimi, CEO of the Insurance Authority, expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic response. He sees this as evidence of the keen interest in this inaugural conference in Saudi Arabia's insurance history. Al-Tamimi is hopeful that the conference will meet its goals, which include aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 and fostering collaboration among government entities, private sectors, and international stakeholders.

The conference aims to identify gaps in both local and global insurance markets and develop strategies to transform these into opportunities. It also seeks to enhance public awareness about the benefits of insurance. Currently, insurance penetration is at 2.59% of the non-oil GDP based on 2024 market data. Increasing this figure is a key objective.
Promoting Sustainable Growth
The event will promote sustainable growth through innovation and financial sustainability while expanding insurance programs. Particular focus will be on protection and savings insurance, which currently makes up only 10% of the Saudi market but holds significant growth potential.
Extensive Program Line-up
The Global Insurance Conference and Exhibition will feature over 40 dialogue sessions, workshops, and events. More than 100 speakers and over 150 local and international organisations are expected to participate. The exhibition space spans 15,000 square meters and is anticipated to draw more than 7,000 visitors over three days.
