Industry Minister Bandar Alkhorayef Engages With French Industrial And Mining Leaders
During an official visit to France, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef engaged in discussions with key figures from the French industrial and mining sectors. The meetings aimed to explore joint investment opportunities and enhance collaboration between Saudi Arabia and France. Minister Alkhorayef met with executives from Orano Mining, Bel Group, Sidel, and Safran. These discussions focused on potential cooperation avenues crucial for the economic growth of both countries. The meetings were attended by Abdulrahman Al-Semari from the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority and Eng. Saleh Al-Solami from the National Industrial Development Center.

A significant outcome of the visit was the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Sidel, a prominent French packaging manufacturer, and Saudi Arabia’s NIDC. This MoU aims to establish a regional service hub and a specialized center for developing industrial human capital in Saudi Arabia.
