Industry Minister Bandar Alkhorayef Leads Delegation To K Show 2025 In Germany For Industrial Cooperation

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef has embarked on an official visit to Germany. He is leading a high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia's industrial sector to participate in K Show 2025. This event, held in Düsseldorf, is the premier trade fair for the plastics and rubber industries.

The visit's primary goal is to enhance industrial collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Germany. It aims to exchange expertise with top industrial nations and explore partnership opportunities. These efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on transferring advanced technologies and attracting quality investments to the Kingdom.

During his visit, Minister Alkhorayef will open the Saudi pavilion at K Show 2025. This pavilion highlights the development of Saudi industry and showcases investment opportunities in key sectors like chemical conversion and advanced manufacturing. It also emphasizes the support provided to investors.

Alkhorayef plans to tour major pavilions of leading companies such as SABIC, TASNEE, and German firms like AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH. This tour aims to gain insights into the latest industrial technologies and global best practices in manufacturing.

The minister will co-chair a high-level roundtable meeting alongside the CEO of Messe Düsseldorf. Senior executives from major international industrial companies will attend this meeting. The discussion will focus on promising opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector and highlight the Kingdom’s competitive advantages as an attractive investment destination.

Saudi Arabia and Germany have strong economic ties. In 2024, non-oil trade between them reached SAR39.07 billion. German investments in Saudi Arabia surpassed SAR14.62 billion, reflecting German companies' confidence in the Saudi investment climate.

Strengthening International Partnerships

The official visit to Germany and participation in K Show 2025 aim to bolster international industrial partnerships. The focus is on exchanging expertise, promoting knowledge transfer, attracting quality investments, and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading global industrial hub.
