Upon arrival, pilgrims are taken directly to their accommodations in Makkah and Madinah via designated routes. Partner agencies manage luggage delivery, ensuring a hassle-free journey for the pilgrims.

The Ministry of Interior leads this initiative with support from various government bodies. These include the ministries of foreign affairs, health, Hajj and Umrah, and media. Other collaborators are the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, General Authority for Awqaf, Pilgrim Experience Program, and General Directorate of Passports.

This initiative aims to provide high-quality services to pilgrims by streamlining processes before they leave their home countries. The goal is to enhance service efficiency while making pilgrimage rituals more convenient. The program's comprehensive approach ensures that all necessary steps are completed smoothly before departure.

The Indonesian president was briefed on these efforts during his visit. He learned about how these measures are designed to facilitate pilgrim journeys effectively. The focus is on maximizing service efficiency while ensuring ease and convenience throughout the pilgrimage experience.

The Makkah Route Initiative represents a collaborative effort among several key government entities. By working together, these organisations aim to provide a seamless and welcoming experience for pilgrims traveling from beneficiary countries.
