Indian Cultural Week Concludes Successfully In Riyadh; Bangladeshi Cultural Days To Start Tomorrow

The Ministry of Media wrapped up the Indian Cultural Week, a week-long event held in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority under the "Global Harmony 2" initiative. This event drew over 200,000 attendees and showcased a range of cultural and artistic performances, underscoring the strong Saudi-Indian ties and Riyadh's cultural diversity.

Interactive pavilions were set up to exhibit arts, crafts, cuisine, and traditional customs from various Indian regions. These displays allowed visitors to experience India's rich cultural identity firsthand. The event was part of the Quality of Life Program, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Indian Cultural Week Ends; Bangladeshi Days Begin

The Indian Cultural Week featured more than 100 Indian artists who performed artistic, theatrical, and heritage presentations. These performances highlighted India's cultural richness and were well-received by audiences. The event also attracted significant official attention from diplomatic and cultural figures.

A festive atmosphere prevailed throughout the week as members of the Indian community, citizens, and residents gathered to celebrate. The vibrant artistic performances by Indian troupes concluded the week on a high note, with enthusiastic audience participation enhancing the spirit of cultural exchange.

The Global Harmony Initiative continues its series of cultural weeks featuring 14 countries over 49 days. This initiative aims to foster human dialogue and cultural understanding while establishing Riyadh as a global hub for celebrating cultural diversity. The next event is Bangladeshi Cultural Days, starting tomorrow.

This four-day event will showcase Bangladeshi culture through artistic and theatrical performances by talented artists. Such events are part of Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to promote intercultural dialogue and understanding among different communities within the Kingdom.

The successful conclusion of Indian Cultural Week highlights Riyadh's commitment to being a platform for global cultural celebrations. By hosting these events, Saudi Arabia strengthens its position as a centre for promoting civilizational diversity and fostering international relations through culture.
