During his visit, H.H. Dr. Sheikh viewed various artworks including vibrant watercolours, intricate etchings, and expressive bronze sculptures. Notable pieces such as "Feast in the Desert" by Jordanian artist Fahrelnissa Zeid and "Mother Palestine" by Palestinian artist Sliman Mansour provided insights into cultural, social, and political narratives shaping the region.

The opening ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Government Relations in Sharjah; Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Culture and Youth; Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi, President of the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts; Princess Rajwa Bint Ali, Vice President of the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts; and Sheikha Nawar bint Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Art Foundation.

On 21st September, a panel discussion will be held at the Sharjah Art Museum to explore the curatorial vision behind this exhibition. It will also discuss broader themes related to contemporary Mediterranean Arab art. Additionally, museum workshops focusing on clay art, etching, watercolour and ink blending, as well as abstract geometric art for children will allow participants to engage with art interactively.

The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts is a prestigious cultural institution in the region with a vast collection exceeding 3,000 works from around the world. It provides a platform for global recognition of artists.

Concluding his tour at the exhibition, H.H. Dr. Sheikh exchanged gifts and publications with Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi. This gesture marked a moment of cultural exchange between Sharjah and Jordan's esteemed art institutions.
