Riyadh Region Governor Launches Third Global Conference For Giftedness And Creativity

The third Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity was inaugurated by Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz. The event, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is organised by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, known as "Mawhiba." It takes place at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) in Riyadh from November 24 to 26.

The conference, themed "Beyond Creative Minds," aims to highlight the potential of gifted individuals. It seeks to develop a comprehensive support system for them while enhancing integration and strategic partnerships. The event also focuses on increasing opportunities for global exchange and cooperation among participants.

More than 300 talented individuals, along with local and international speakers from over 50 countries, are participating in this gathering. The conference includes six dialogue sessions and eight workshops. Additionally, there is a segment called Creative Creation featuring four tracks with engaging keynote speakers.

Participants aim to find innovative solutions to contemporary challenges through these sessions. An exhibition accompanies the conference along with various cultural visits on its sidelines. These activities provide a platform for sharing ideas and fostering creativity among attendees.

Upon his arrival at the venue, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz was welcomed by several dignitaries. These included Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation; Yousef Al-Benyan, Minister of Education; Suleiman Al-Zaben, Chairman of Mawhiba's Board of Directors; and Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Sharif, Acting Secretary-General of Mawhiba.

The conference serves as an important platform for experts in science, technology, and innovation to come together. It encourages collaboration among talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to address pressing global issues through creativity and innovation.
