Sheikh Theyab Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Attends Inaugural Erth Zayed Philanthropies Forum In Abu Dhabi To Enhance Global Philanthropic Efforts
H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, attended the first Erth Zayed Philanthropies Forum in Abu Dhabi. This event brought together various philanthropic organisations under the Erth Zayed umbrella, including the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, among others.
The forum aimed to enhance collaboration among these entities to address global development challenges effectively. Sheikh Theyab emphasised that working together is crucial for achieving a greater impact. "Erth Zayed Philanthropies will seek to enhance the reach and effectiveness of the UAE’s philanthropic activities, but it cannot do so alone," he stated.
The forum highlighted the importance of partnerships in driving scalable solutions. By aligning efforts with global priorities, Erth Zayed Philanthropies aims to improve lives locally and globally. The exhibition at the forum showcased contributions from participating foundations, reinforcing the UAE's leadership in philanthropy.
Members of the Board of Trustees also attended the event. The board includes Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan; Dr Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei; Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrui; Rashid Saeed Al Ameri; Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi; and Saeed Rashid Al Zaabi.
Under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's patronage, Erth Zayed Philanthropies was launched to unify major philanthropic efforts in the UAE. This new entity aims to enhance efficiency and global visibility while complementing existing activities within its ecosystem.
