Impact Makers Initiative Unveils Five Programmes To Train 250 Humanitarian Journalists And Content Creators
The International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council has introduced five new programmes aimed at training 250 content creators and journalists. These programmes focus on humanitarian and developmental topics. This initiative, known as "Impact Makers," was launched under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In collaboration with the New Media Academy, a pioneer in digital media innovation in the Middle East, this initiative is set to be executed this year. The academy is part of the Visioneers Group, which is the UAE's largest platform for content management and development.

The "Impact Makers" initiative aims to equip 250 individuals with skills in humanitarian journalism. Participants will learn to create digital content that highlights humanitarian initiatives and programmes. The training will help them understand and write press releases that accurately reflect humanitarian efforts.
Participants will also master storytelling techniques suited to various journalistic formats and publication mediums. This will empower them to deliver impactful humanitarian content using advanced methods, effectively conveying messages to a wide audience.
The initiative includes several training modules. Among these are the "Spokesperson Skills, Media Appearance, and Crisis Management in the Media" programme, the "Humanitarian Impact Journalism" programme, and the "Humanitarian Impact Content Creators" programme.
The "Humanitarian Impact Content Creators" programme will have two versions. One version will be conducted in partnership with the Arab Youth Centre, enhancing its reach and impact within the region.
This comprehensive approach aims to enhance participants' abilities in creating meaningful content that resonates with audiences interested in humanitarian causes.
By focusing on these areas, the initiative seeks to foster a new generation of journalists and content creators who can effectively communicate important humanitarian stories.
