Imams Of The Two Holy Mosques Join Initiative To Better Pilgrims' Experience
The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has launched a new initiative involving the esteemed Imams of the Two Holy Mosques in the Fatwa Chair. This initiative aims to enrich the experience of pilgrims, enhance programs for answering inquiries, and activate the moderate religious message of the Imams beyond the mihrab and pulpit.
Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, inaugurated the initiative at the Prophet's Mosque. The initiative involves Imams in receiving and answering questions related to Hajj and visiting the Prophet's Mosque, based on evidence from the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

This launch coincides with the arrival of pilgrims for the 1445 AH Hajj season, as they prepare to perform the fifth pillar of Islam. Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais emphasized that wise leadership directives encourage exerting efforts, raising morale, and dedicating oneself to spreading the religious message of the Two Holy Mosques worldwide.
He added that this initiative aims to serve pilgrims by utilizing all available resources to facilitate their rituals. Central to achieving these goals is deepening the religious message of the Imams and expanding their roles from traditional duties to include scholarly chairs, scientific lessons, issuing fatwas, and answering religious inquiries.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais noted that these efforts will enrich pilgrims' experiences by clarifying Hajj and Umrah rituals and visit etiquette. This initiative is expected to provide a comprehensive religious experience for visitors to the Prophet's Mosque.
