IFZA Opens BVMW Representative Office In Dubai To Strengthen UAE-German Business Relations

IFZA, a prominent free zone community in Dubai, has inaugurated the Der Mittelstand. BVMW e. V. representative office in Dubai. This move aims to enhance business ties between the UAE and Germany. IFZA has collaborated with BVMW on numerous events and is now its official representative in Dubai.

The launch event was held at IFZA’s premises, attended by key figures like Alexander Schönfelder, the German Ambassador to the UAE, Christoph Ahlhaus, Chairman of the Federal Executive Board of Der Mittelstand. BVMW e. V., and Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Director-General of Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO). The event featured panel discussions and networking opportunities.

The opening of this office marks a strategic partnership aimed at fostering growth and cooperation between the two nations. As IFZA broadens its services, this office will be crucial for German SMEs, offering support and connections to thrive in Dubai's business-friendly environment.

Jochen Knecht, CEO of IFZA, highlighted the significance of this development during the event. He stated that establishing a representative office aligns with their strategy to attract foreign direct investment by promoting Dubai globally and bringing international businesses to Dubai.

This initiative supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 by attracting Foreign Direct Investment into the emirate. The office will serve as a vital resource for German SMEs seeking success from Germany to Dubai and beyond.

Christoph Ahlhaus expressed satisfaction with their association with IFZA. He noted that the Gulf region is rapidly growing, and this collaboration will strengthen their presence in the UAE market while aiding German businesses in achieving their objectives.
